Yesterday, the Nutter Center crowd was treated to an exhabition of some “Old School Hockey”. Half way through the second period, there was a standard 1 on 1 bout , which quickly turned into an “I went to a boxing match and a hockey game broke out”. During the frackas, the Elmira Jackals received a game misconduct , a match penalty and an assortment of other infractions. The result was that the Bombers ended up with a 5 on 3 power play for close to 5 minutes.
