April 1, 2009 can only mean one thing, besides the other obvious item…BASEBALL IS BACK. I had a pleasure of photographing the Varsity game somewhere in Piqua. It took me 30 minutes, four stops at various gas stations before someone was able to point me to a cemetery where “I might” find the field. This only happens with High School games, where home games are played at neutral sites for both teams.
Anywho, this was the second game of the season for the Panthers, but they looked like they were in mid-season form as they beat Piqua 27-2. It was good to see same players from my first Springboro game at Fifth Third Field game last year. Here is a link to All images from the game.
