Last night was the basketball rematch pitting the two cross-town rivals of Springboro and Lebanon. The first round, three weeks ago, went to Springboro and last night Lebanon returned the favor by defeating Springboro 44-43 in the last seconds of the game. I attended the annual Flyin’ to the Hoop Basketball Tournament today for a Springboro vs Morrow (GA) basketball game. The game was well played with many lead changes. Springboro’s Justin Garrett scored at the end of regulation to force the game into OT. The Panthers completed the comback by winning 67 – 63.
